Family History
In December, 1998, we moved from Milton Keynes to West Wales. We are near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. We are close to the sea and several castles. We have a wonderful view of the Preseli hills from the back of the bungalow.
I have found a couple of nice 'local' pubs. One is called 'The Jolly Sailor.' and is situated on the banks of the Cleddau estuary. It is in the village of 'Burton'. It has an extensive menu and serves a wonderful pint of 'Burton Ale' which is rather appropriate!
The other is 'The Victoria Inn' at Roch. It, too, sells a very good pint of real ale and usually has at least three from which to choose. The extensive menu is also extremely good value and much of the selection is home cooked by Julie, 'The Guvnor!'
Since we moved, my wife,
Viv, thinks that she has died and gone to Heaven! The reason that we moved here
is because I spent most of my summer holidays as a young boy in Fishguard.
This is where my mother was born. Here is a picture of her with her family
outside their cottage.

My mother is the lady behind
my Granddad.
