Moths

These are pictures of what I believe is an Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar. We found four of them within two days on 20th and 21st August, 2003

Hummingbird Moth

This morning I was surprised to find a hummingbird moth feeding on the phlox outside our lounge window.  I grabbed a video camera and got some footage of it. Here are a few blurry shots grabbed from the video file.  There are two clips below.  The first is 474k and lasts for 7 seconds;  the second is 1.04meg and lasts for 8 seconds.
