Dave Cochlin shot his second
six-gold-end at 70 metres almost exactly a year after he shot his first
one.
Here is the proof.

On Sunday, 9th March, Simon Burgess
shot his first Robin Hood shot where a second arrow split the first one. Here

Autumn Fun Shoot held on
Sunday, 9th October
The day began with a sales table of
surplus equipment before we all had lunch.
After lunch, there was a Warwick round for all
archers and the winners were decided by drawing random scores from
a hat. There was a choice of tins of biscuits or chocolates
for those drawn out.
Top scorer for the round was John Whittleston
with a personal best score of 388.
There was a short break and all archers were organised into teams
for the balloon bursting over 40 yards. There were four
teams of four archers who had to burst 13 balloons in the least
number of arrows.
There was another short break whilst senior members erected the
guillotine to execute the Chairman! The chairman was an
effigy and archers had to shoot at a small disk made of plaster of
Paris which activated the blade. The order was drawn by lots
and each archer having 3 arrows to try to smash the disk.
Here are pictures of club members trying to 'kill' the
Chairman.
