Viv and I went to New Hampshire to stay with friends for five weeks in the Autumn of 1997. Whilst we were there, we visited Cape Cod. Here we are in Plymouth, Mass. with the replica of the Mayflower in the background.
We returned in 2000 and again in 2001.
In 2000, we had a great trip to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
In both years, another of the highlights was to drive to Canada via Niagara Falls to stay with one of Viv's sisters in  Ontario.

Another of our trips in New Hampshire was to go 'leaf-peeping' along the Kankamagus Highway. The colours of the trees has to be seen to be believed.

We also went whale watching from Plymouth. We were lucky enough to see several hump-backed whales. Here is one just about to make a dive.
