Robyn's Diary (cont)

Sunday, 5th August

After we got up I had scrambled egg and sausages for breakfast.  After that we went through some locks.  I helped Granddad steer the boat.  We stopped for lunch and I had some ham, cheese, and then some custard.  Grandma and I went for a walk while Granddad had a shower I climbed some trees.  When we got back we saw Granddad was fishing. He had already caught some fish. I had a go and I caught my very first fish and Granddad took my picture.  Then we carried on along the canal and went through some more locks.
We stopped at 6.30 and Granddad and I went to the pub.  I had some crisps and a coke.  Then we went back to the boat for supper. I had some spaghetti with cucumber and salad cream; then some Jaffa cakes and sweets.  We all went to bed at the same time but I got a bit sad so I jumped in with Grandma and Granddad.  In the morning, I found Granddad had gone to sleep in my bed but I was still with Grandma.
